PAAO-US
NEWSLETTER for February 2008 One of PAAO's original dreams was to enhance its mission through growth and expansion into every other country, as individual supporting organizations, yet working hand in hand with all other PAAO Members across the globe. With enough growth now finally experienced, as well as enough people and other resources, and with the majority of PAAO activity being involved with the U.S. Governors' Packages, it was high time for the addition of a supporting structure based right in the U.S.

Although at least one of the PAAO-US Board Directors is also still a full and present Board Director with the original PAAO, and is in good standing, we just have reviewed a very disturbing announcement within the latest PAAO newsletter, that commented as to not being affiliated with PAAO-US? It is obviously unsettling, also contradictory to the original goals of PAAO, and we are hoping that it was merely spoken under a mistaken sense of insecurity, as PAAO-US will certainly work with everyone, everywhere, in supporting the common need for the awareness of parental alienation and hostile aggressive parenting.

However, on another disturbing note, PAAO-US is very concerned that the original PAAO will soon be defaulted upon its binding By-Laws, in that the maximum allowed deadline for holding the required "annual" physical conference of general Members everywhere, in order to hold the required annual elections of the Officers, will have passed after this month, and the wake of that organizational leadership is yet to be seen.

Rest assured, though, that PAAO-US will continue to forge ahead with the U.S people in promotion of the Governors' Packages, and even some new and exciting opportunities to help put a stop to parental alienation across the U.S.

NEWSLETTER for February 2008
We thank everyone for their anticipation of our very first newsletter!

We sure have a lot to announce, so let's get right to it, shall we?

As always, we are looking for people to help with our U.S. Governor's campaign, and for other events on Parental Alienation Awareness Day (PAAD), April 25th. If you are interested in helping, we would love to hear from you :) Please e-mail us at: info@paao-us.com

In order to reduce unnecessary expenses for both PAAO and our global members, we have decided upon having webinars this year, instead of a physical workshop. This would allow us to bring in a number of experts from different regions, as well as participants/attendees being able to be in different regions.

Please go to PAAO Webinars to sign up, and stay tuned for further information.

We are always looking to grow our membership. PAAO-US revolves around its United States members. The bigger our U.S. membership grows, the more seriously we are taken, and the more we can do the better work and help more children. There is never a fee to join, so please send an email to members@paao-us.com with the word "Membership" in the subject line to join. Membership entitles you to a vote at our general meeting, and in the annual elections of Officers, so that all PAAO leaders naturally remain focused on the mission.

Thank you to all who support our efforts here within the United States, of educating and stopping the damaging effects of Parental Alienation, and Hostile Aggressive Parenting, upon innocent children.

More Details
We are looking for representatives to ask their governors to proclaim or recognize April 25th as Parental Alienation Awareness Day (PAAD). We are pleased that the Governors of the States of Florida, Indiana, Connecticut, Montana, as well as Kentucky, Iowa, Maine, Nevada, Nebraska, and also the Islands of Bermuda, have issued either proclamations, or recognitions, of Parental Alienation, and of Parental Alienation Awareness Day, so far. We still have a long way to go to get another 41 States, but with enough people, it'll be quick!

The process is fairly easy and straightforward, and PAAO has the proclamation wording and petition request, along with the statistics, articles, and much more information about Parental Alienation. The requirement, however, is that a proclamation must be requested by, and sent to, a resident of that same State.

Accordingly, we are calling on all United States volunteers to step up to the plate, and request proclamations from their Governors, so that everyone, everywhere, will be made aware of the pain and damage that parental alienation behaviors do to our children and families.

If you are interested in helping us get proclamations about parental alienation, or assisting in other U.S. events for April 25th (PAAD), please contact Theresa Martin at theresa@paao-us.com for more information and direction.

Together, we can make 2008 the year when all children will finally be able to give and receive all of the love that they deserve.

PAAO has done great work in exposing the tragedies created by Parental Alienation, and by Hostile Aggressive Parenting. Our U.S. membership has grown, and our new expansion of the U.S. board of directors is soon to be announced. If you are an alienated parent, child, or a friend or relative of either one, or if you work with any individuals or families of alienated parents or children, and have not joined as a member yet, please do so right now, and get support.

As our membership grows, the more we can do to help people understand the dynamics of Parental Alienation, and of Hostile Aggressive Parenting, and the effects these behaviors have on our children and families, and so the more we can stop these effects.

There is never a fee to join PAAO-US, and your help is welcomed.
PAAO is only as credible as its members who will continue to work together for the sake of our children. It’s quick and easy to do: Just join the PAAO-US Yahoo! Group :)

In addition, please consider a financial contribution to PAAO-US

Title 36, United States Code, Section 135:

"All private citizens, organizations, and Federal, State, and local governmental and legislative entities are encouraged to recognize Parents' Day through proclamations, activities, and educational efforts in furtherance of recognizing, uplifting, and supporting the role of parents in bringing up their children."

With that said, PAAO-US is expanding the idea of the Governor's Packages into the U.S.-only Parent's Day Packages, using the same general method. However, as you can see, with the Parent's Day Packages, our job is made very easy, because our goal IS the law!

Please email us for more details on this exciting opportunity in 2008.
